ECOPROD is a collectif project who promotes respectful and environment-friendly audiovisual, this project joins TF1, FRANCE TV, l'ADEME, AUDIENS, Movie Commission Ile de France and DIRECCTE. ECOPROD entrusts Zen'to the realization of Carbon'Clap, an online CO2 calculator which let the audovisual productor to calculate the production carbon footprint. |
The company
ECOPROD is a collectif project who promote the reduction of audiovisual production carbon footprint, sensitizing actors with adapted tools.
Ecoprod count among his founder members TF1, France TV, Audiens, ADEME, movie commission of Ile de France and the industry ministry.
The problem
Ecoprod proposed to calculate CO2 emissions, specific on movies production activities and TV emissions. Ecoprod entrusts Zen'to the realization of this calculator with different goals:
- Define a greenhouse gas emissions assessment methodoloy with differents kind of production.
- Propose an online web tool, easy to use
- Propose advanced functionalities like user authentification, assessments historisation, calculator integration in the website

In partnership with Effet de Levier , Zen'to has developed Carbon'Clap calculator with the following caracteristics:

Development on open source technologies and integrated into Joomla, used by Ecoprod
