Zen'to, Information technology for Sustainable Development
Created in 2009 by the british telecommunications operator managers BT (Ex-Bristish Telecom), Zen'to is born because the information technology faces on two news stakes:
- The indispensable decline of the environmental impact
- The accompanyement of a sustainable development policy inside the company and the community
Zen'to is the first company including experts with double skills:computer science and environmental, able to advise, develop and integrate new softwares solutions.
Zen'to is supported by :
- OSEO and Conseil Régional for Carbon Track solution's development.
- SANOFI Aventis in the context of an economic convention's development.

One of the Zen'to's founder is member of CJD la Défense (Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants).
Zen'to intervenes in different topics around the "eco-responsible information system" like:
- Green IT workshop of SYNTEC Informatique, in which zento piloted the green book "Greenhouse gas emission management"
- the website www.greenit.fr. Many employees of Zen'to are members of the editorial staff of this site, first french blog in sustainable development (Source: wikio 2010)
- Zen'to drafts some chapters in "Systèmes d'Information et développement durable" in partnership with CIGREF
